Every British Airways peak date in 2026, month by month. Any date not listed as peak is off-peak — and off-peak reward flights cost fewer Avios, so a little flexibility can save you thousands of points.
British Airways prices reward flights on a fixed, published calendar of peak and off-peak dates. Peak days cost more Avios; off-peak days cost fewer. The dates are set by the operating airline and roughly a third of 2026 is peak — so knowing the calendar is one of the simplest ways to stretch your Avios further.

Read the table as: these dates are peak, everything else is off-peak. Where a trip straddles both, BA prices each flight by its own departure date — so an off-peak outbound can pair with a peak return.
As of September 2026, British Airways has not published a full 2027 peak/off-peak calendar — it usually appears early in the year. Until it does, the safest planning approach is to treat the 2027 school-holiday, half-term and bank-holiday periods as likely peak, using the 2026 pattern above as a template. We will publish the confirmed 2027 dates here as soon as BA releases them.
Dates can be adjusted by BA from time to time. Always confirm the price shown at the point of booking. This is general information, not financial advice.
